It's that time of the year! Time to deck the halls, with all the holly. And with each new year, come little trends in Christmas decor. And while quite a lot of our Christmas decorating is things that hold great memories for us. Items that have been in our family for years, and make you recall the sweetest of times. It is always fun to check out the latest trends that the season brings.
Today I will be touching on 5 new trends this Holiday season has for you. Let's start it off simple.
Minimal style.
This keeps it simple. If you are already living this lifestyle then this is one you are going to be drawn to naturally. Keeping things very clean and airy is an important part of a minimal trend.
Modern candlesticks.
This is a big one this year, brass or black candlesticks are everywhere it seems like. Everything from in the kitchen to the mantle. and most certainly in the dining room. And whether they are purchased new or found at your local thrift store, it seems the more the better!
Cozy creams and whites.
This is one of my personal favorites this year. Keep things cozy with neutrals. Layering in whites and creams in with natural textures. It leaves your room looking so cozy, you won't want to leave!
Vintage touches.
Who could have thought that vintage would never go out of style? Everything from old cans to vintage elves and Santas is a perfect way to layer in some fun. I love that even the newer items are made to look classic.
Pops of black.
This is a trend that most have embraced with paint in their homes this year. And now it's in the decor. Matte black accents bring an elevated elegance to your room. While adding in a modern flair.
