DIY ADVENT CALENDAR FOR LITTLE ONES

I remember growing up and opening little tabs on a cardboard advent calendar that depicted the nativity scene. It was wonderful. There was no craft, no treat, just the joy of seeing what was inside and getting that much closer to Christmas. I knew I wanted to share those same memories with Eliora, my daughter.

So I have put together a printable Advent calendar! Here are two ways to use it!

  1. Mini advent - Cut them out and Place these inside any advent style calendar. You can even include small stickers, candy, or various other treats in those! Simply read the Bible scripture to your kids each day. It's a very short passage, so perfect for every age group. Be sure to put the paper discs back in the calendar for next year!

2. The second way you can use this is through these larger Advent Ornaments. Add them to your tree and countdown to Christmas each day, by reading the passage together as a family. You can have your kids color the back and tape ribbon on to transform it into an ornament. No advent calendar needed! Simple print off at home!
