THINGS TO DO WITH A TODDLER IN EPCOT. RAIN OR SHINE!

I get so many questions about HOW I take Eliora by myself so much to the parks! The answer is fairly simple. Lots and lots and LOTS of patience. And snacks. Yes, so many snacks!! We headed over to Epcot last week to see what we could find! It happens to be the Flower and Garden Festival so there was so much beauty around us. We were ready for a rainy day of puddle splashing and thunderstorms. But the Florida weather surprised us with fairly nice weather!

Our first stop was the Character Spot! So here you can currently find Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Minnie Mouse all in one location! A perfect way to start your day ( especially if it's a rainy one!) With so many characters in one location, it's so awesome to be able to cross off some of the fab four! There are TONS and TONS of Characters to be found at Epcot. Making it an awesome park choice for the Character lover in your family! Everyone from Princesses to Wreak it Ralph is currently found around the Epcot ball! Check your My Disney experience for available characters during your Epcot trip.

Next up is our absolute favorite thing to do at Epcot! It's called "Innovations". And it's located to the left as you head towards Mission Space! As you enter there are interactive stations to your left, but we head straight to Colortopia! Where we get to learn about the world around us in color. Including painting with a magic paintbrush! I can't stress this enough, you don't want to miss this attraction!

Up next we visited The Cool Club. Located beside Starbucks- right by the fountain as your heading towards the word showcase. Here you can taste-test various sodas from around the world. You can even ask to taste some of the frozen sodas that are for sale behind the counter. Eliora had never had a frozen coke, so She was rather confused. Make sure you try the Beverly!

We headed on towards the World Showcase. While everyone usually starts in Mexico. We are those weirdos that take a Right towards Canada! We headed towards our first Kidcot station! Ar each station you can currently pick up a cute little card to color and add to your suitcase (a Ziploc baggie designed to look like a mini suitcase.) In every country, you can find a little table where you can pick up your next card, sticker. You can even let them color it at each station if you're having a really laid back day. Or if the rain is too much to walk through at the moment.

Once you complete your trip around the world, you can let the attendant know and they will give you an actual postcard for traveling the world! You can even mail it back home from Walt Disney World if you would like. There are various Mailboxes located throughout the property! You can also ask the attendants anything you want about that particular country. Most are from there and have lots of personal knowledge about living in those areas.

Next, we headed into Oh Canada! A 360-degree movie experience. Bringing us to my next idea for a rainy day. Don't skip out on the movies that are offered in each showcase. It's a great way to get from the rain. If the day isn't too busy try to sit in the back or in an area where you kids are free to sit and quietly play as the movie goes on. You can also use the Kidcot stops as an incentive to watch the movie! As they are usually found at the end of each movie area, or in the shops surround it!

As we made our way around the showcase, we didn't stop and have a huge lunch. We opted to instead share a snack at each pavilion! For a picky four-year-old, this can be tricky. So you can always ask that something is made plain without dressing or sauces put on it. Also varying between sweet items and actual food lol is a good incentive to keep them tasting away. If you go on a sunny day, be sure to watch for various street entertainers that pop up in each country!

By this point, it was almost 6 pm. And we didn't even hit all of our Kidcot stations. With no nap and our first time without a stroller, we decided to head home. But we easily could have stayed at least two more hours just working our way through the Showcase.

It was a great day! Because of the rainy forecast, Eliora wore her raincoat & rain boots from Amazon! I simply wore comfy shoes and a poncho & baseball cap! (Thank the Lord for these items!!)

We hope you enjoyed all of our suggestions! Let me know what your favorite things to do at Epcot with a toddler are!
